Since Alex’s Birthday was a few days ago, she decided to go down the shore for her Birthday with one of her friends. She spent a lot of time growing up in Wildwood NJ. Her grandmother had a home there and she spent almost the entire summer down at the shore. She works so hard and does so much for our family that she deserves to get away.
It has left me home with Greyson and the two dogs for 2 days. Needless to say it was a tough weekend at times. I was able to experience first hand what Alex has been going through since we got the puppy’s and I started woking. A lot of chaos!!! It is always something that is going wrong, one of them is having a problem to deal with, or all of them at the same time. It took me an hour just to do like 10 dishes because I kept getting interrupted by Greyson needing something or the dogs doing something wrong or even fighting to much.
The weekend has given me a new perspective on Alex’s day to day life and I do not know how she does it everyday. It takes a special person to be able to manage all of it day in and day out, all by herself. I am so impressed by her ability to manage it all and it is truly inspirational. I know now I could and will not ever take what she does and sacrifices for our family on a day to day basis. We are all so lucky to have her! It wasn’t easy to do it myself for the weekend but I enjoyed spending quality time with all of them and I got a lot out of the experience. We can all learn something from every experience or interaction we have as long as we are present in the moment.
