When you become a wife and a mother, it’s very important that you take care of You first. You need to be 100% before you can think of taking care of anyone else. Self care is very important, like going for massages, spending time with friends, taking a weekend to get away, focusing on you, or even meditation. Being emotionally or spiritually healthy and mindful while going through this journey is going to keep you balanced, and you need that for what you are embarking on. This will be the hardest, yet most rewarding accomplishment of your life. Your child, whether autistic or neuro-typical needs Mama to be healthy. You don’t ever want to put you’re issues onto your children. So take the time to sometimes step away, even if its just for a relaxing 15 minutes hot shower/bath to recenter. Keep active and indulge in healthy foods and living because your children want you around for a long time, and they need you!!
